[MAAPT] Call for workshops for Fall 2005 joint meeting

Iowa/Minnesota/Wisconsin Association of Physics Teachers Joint Meeting

Call for Workshops

The joint meeting of the Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin sections of the
American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT) will be held at Luther
College in Decorah, Iowa on October 28th and 29th. Decorah is
approximately 3 hours from Minneapolis and 3 hours from Madison.

A website has been set up for the meeting at

At present we are looking for Workshops, Papers and Demos for the Saturday
Demo Show.  A call for other types of presentations will be sent out
in approximately two weeks.

To submit a workshop, please send the following information to
vicepresident at wapt.org.  Please put "Workshop" in the title of the e-mail.

1. Title of the workshop
2. Name(s) and affiliation(s) of the person/people presenting the workshop
3. Times that you want to offer the workshop (Friday afternoon, or
   Saturday morning)
4. Time needed for the workshop (1.5-3.5 hours)
5. Equipment needed
6. Preferred limit of the number of participants
7. Any cost you would like to pass along to the participants (e.g., for
   photocopying, supplies, software fees)
8. An abstract for the workshop

Registration for the workshops will be available in mid-September when
costs and workshops have been finalized. (Cost of the meeting registration
is $10)
